Wild Bird Peanut Candle

It is recommended that you feed wild birds all year round, through the colder winter and throughout the spring and summer, to help adult birds raise their young. Feed from a sheltered location that offers protection from bad weather and keeps well away from shrubs that may harbour predators such as cats. Provide birds with clean water all year round.

Spring: Adult birds need plenty of food to keep their energy levels up as they raise their young.
Summer: Hot weather can mean the ground bakes hard and natural water sources can dry up.
Autumn: Birds must build their weight ready for the cold winter.
Winter: Snow, ice and windy weather make finding food difficult.
